3 D
Air Sales Ltd imports Mitsubishi air conditioning systems from Japan.
3D does not install, service, or maintain installed equipment. We supply

Mitsubishi air conditioning
systems are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, and have
an unrivalled reputation for reliability. If they applied properly, and
installed correctly, and are maintained, they will operate efficiently
for many years.
For this reason
we do not supply Mitsubishi equipment to cowboys, or to non-trade installers.
It is essential that the systems are installed correctly, in particular
with regard to the precautions required when fitting and brazing of refrigeration
pipework, and adding refrigerant charge to the system.
Installers can
vary from one man bands (some of whom are very skilled and experienced),
to large national companies, who are more capable of managing larger projects,
or roll-out programmes for retailers, banks, etc.
We would be
pleased to recommend installers to suit the type and size of project,
in most parts of the country.
M
& E Contractors We
frequently work with d&b building services contractors who are involved
in the many aspects of mechanical services fitted to buildings, including
air conditioning. We can assist with the design and selection of equipment,
control systems, and integration into BMS. We can recommend specialist
a.c. installers to quote for the supply and install if required.
Many VRF type
projects are done on this basis, where working with the m & e contractor,
and in some cases also with the client, can create a better understanding
between the parties involved, and result in cost savings for the installed
project.
Consultants 3D
has a very experience team of technical sales staff, each of whom have
been involved in the industry for 20 years or more.
We are regularly involved in making technical presentations to consultants
(CPD) on various subjects associated with our sector of the industry.
3D applications engineers are constantly assisting consultants with the
design and selection of equipment, layout of pipework, equipment schedules,
text for tenders, etc. On average, we deal with about 25 projects per
week.
All Mitsubishi equipment is drawn in AutoCad, and the scaled icons of
all units can be emailed to consultants to be dropped in to building drawings.
These can also be downloaded from our web site – see Technical
Section – Downloads.
3D can provide schematic drawings of each system – pipework, distribution
controllers, branch pipe kits, indoor units, controls, power wiring, control
wiring, etc. This removes any ambiguity of design requirements at the
beginning of a project, and avoids misunderstandings at the tender stage
and during the installation process.
All technical and engineering information can be accessed in the Technical
Section, and engineering drawings and specifications can be downloaded.
